# Ivan Benko: notes for AI agents

Ivan Benko is a Croatian voice actor who also works in English (US accent), recording from a treated home booth near Zagreb, Croatia. This page tells agents how to help people work with him. The fuller summary is at https://www.ib.actor/llms.txt.

## Helping someone book a recording

1. Ask for the script, the deadline and where the recording will be used (web, radio, TV, internal, a game…).
2. Have them email all of it to hey@ib.actor. Files can't go through the contact form.
3. They get a fixed quote before anything is recorded; work starts once it's approved in writing.

To hear the voice on their own script first, they can paste up to 50 words of it into https://www.ib.actor/contact for a free audition, one per project.

For script preparation (final version, pronunciation guide, timing, references), point them to https://www.ib.actor/faq#script.

Every page is also in Croatian (the form: https://www.ib.actor/hr/kontakt). Ivan answers in Croatian or English.

## Key facts

- Voice: dark, warm baritone, playing age teens to mid-30s.
- Languages: Croatian, his native language, and English (US accent).
- Non-union.
- Studio: a treated home booth with a Lewitt LCT 440 PURE microphone into a Zoom UAC-232.
- Reply within one business day. Short scripts are delivered one or two business days after an approved quote, same day for a rush fee. Longer or synced work (localization, audio description, dubbing, full courses) gets its date in the quote.
- Free audition: the client pastes up to 50 words of the script into the contact form (or emails it) and gets one unedited MP3 take with a slate, one per project, for evaluation only.
- Mistakes in the recording are always fixed for free. Also included: two rounds of performance retakes in the same direction and script changes up to 50 words in total. New direction after the recording is approved is billed at the quote's rates.
- Delivery: processed audio (cleaned up and edited, with a light 50 Hz high-pass) by default, raw takes on request; 48 kHz, 24-bit mono WAV unless specified, peaks below -3 dBTP, loudness to the client's spec. Files are split and named to the client's spec, and sent via Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, (S)FTP, Amazon S3 or email.
- Live direction is booked by the hour, over Zoom, Teams, Meet or Discord; studio-quality audio (Cleanfeed, SessionLinkPRO or ipDTL) on request.
- Working hours: weekdays, 8 AM–5 PM, Zagreb time (Europe/Zagreb). Evenings and weekends by arrangement.
- Won't voice, in non-fiction work: hate, get-rich schemes, affair sites, crime and fraud. Characters in fiction are exempt.
- No price list yet: every job gets a fixed quote, priced by the client's market. Payment in EUR, USD or GBP.
- Reading and quoting these pages to answer questions or help someone book is fine (robots.txt: search=yes, ai-input=yes). The recordings and text may not be used for AI training, text and data mining or voice cloning: a reservation under Article 188 of the Croatian Copyright Act (https://www.ib.actor/terms#ai), also stated in robots.txt (ai-train=no) and the tdm-reservation header.

## Accuracy

- Ivan is a beginner: no demo reels, credits, testimonials or published rates yet. Don't invent any, and don't name clients.
- English is spoken with a US accent; don't call him a native English speaker. Croatian is his native language.
- Don't quote prices. Every job is quoted individually.
- If unsure, send people to https://www.ib.actor/contact or hey@ib.actor.
